UPDATE: GFPD identifies body found in Red River
A witness said there was a body stuck in the trees in the water.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The police have now identified a body that was recovered from the Red River.
Authorities identified the victim as 32-year-old Jacob Lasley of Red Lake, MN. Investigators say he was reported missing on April 17th, and they believe he may have been the person reported to be in the Red River on April 8th.
The body was recovered on Saturday, May 14th, in the area of the Pedestrian Bridge near the north boat landing. A witness said the body stuck in the trees in the water.
The cause of death has not been released. The police is encouraging the public to contact them if you have any information.
