I’m an early bird! I anchor Country Morning Today and the Noon Report and co-host our lifestyle program, North Dakota Today.
I’m a California girl, originally, now growing some tough North Dakota skin. My husband grew up in Bismarck. We moved back here hoping to be closer to family to start one of our own. That’s just what we did! Our daughter, Lucy, was born in 2018. She’s keeps us on our toes and we are absolutely soaking up every moment of it.
I grew up in the wine country of Sonoma County, California. I graduated in broadcast journalism from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. During my time there, I reported at KSBY before buying a winter wardrobe and moving to Fargo to report and anchor for Valley News Live. That’s where I met my husband, Cameron!
We moved to Asheville, North Carolina, as I continued to chase my love for the job. I was reporting for WLOS in the western Carolina mountains when I won an Emmy for my general assignment reporting. If you ever get the chance, I’d highly recommend a visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains!
Our longing for family brought us back to Bismarck. We’re sure glad it did. I feel so fortunate to be able to do the work I love in a place that has become my home.
