Growing up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, I played at least one season of every sport you can name. I followed the same philosophy my parents taught me with new foods: try everything once. From ice fishing to hiking, and poutine to pickled fish; I hope to try plenty of things at least once in North Dakota!
I graduated from Arizona State University with a major in Sports Journalism and a minor in History, where I covered Sun Devil football and men's basketball. As the student radio station's sports broadcast director, I announced hockey, lacrosse, soccer, water polo matches and even some swim meet livestreams. Of all those I've broadcast, hockey is easily my favorite sport to watch (coincidentally it's the only sport I've never tried!).
In my free time, I enjoy swimming, yoga, reading books and trying new restaurants. I'm also a diehard Cleveland Browns fan- it's a tough job, but someone has to do it.
